Yesterday we had our first meeting at the New Sydney Hotel. We really appreciated the cool, air conditioned room as it got to an extremely hot 37 degrees outside. As it was committee meeting we worked out our plans for the next 6 months.

Michele McGinity from Greening Australia talked passionately about this apolitical organisation dedicated to restoring Australia’s environment for all Australians.  Greening Australia is the largest environmental organisation in Australia and was formed 26 years ago. Michele spoke about the ways they are trying to reduce carbon pollution by creating resilient ecosystems and forestry techniques. [...]
