On the 23rd September our club president Paul Sayer and Warwick Pease joined with the Rotaract Club of Sandy Bay (inc. Ryan McConnon, Hannah Vermeulen, Emma Piccoli) to walk with an illuminated balloon from the City Hall around the docks and back again. Tracy successfully walked the Kokoda Trail for RAWCS

Past President Tracy Dance participated in the second annual walk for RAWCS along the Kokoda Trail last month.

Victorian Bushfire Relief

Phil Headlam and Paul Sayer, with John Behrens from Lindisfarne Rotary Club, returned from Victoria last week.
They went to Traralgon South to help replace fencing lost in the bush fires.
This was the fifteenth team from Tasmania to spend a week replacing some of the 4000 km of fencing that was lost.

National Stroke Week Launch

Members of the Club took part in the launch of National Stroke Week in Hobart today.
The launch focused on FAST, which stands for Facial weakness, Arm weakness, Speech difficulties, Time to act. It is an easy way to remember the signs of stroke.
