Today Kate held a pancake lunch at her place. It was well attended (11 people) and the $100 raised will go to Uniting Care. We were introduced to Kate’s new puppy, Mr Darcy, who was quite well behaved. We even had a balloon popping competition that was convincingly won by Grace.

We had a terrific day down at Eaglehawk Neck today.  We had a relaxing BBQ on the deck facing the clear blue sky and ocean.  After lunch had settled some of us went down to the beach to play in the sand and water.  Many thanks to Anita for organising everything.

We just had our club Christmas dinner at the Hilltop Granton (nice of them to open specially on a Monday for us).  The entire club came along with family (including many children).  After the mains we had a Secret Santa most ably performed by our newest member Rebecca.

The Club had a great Christmas Dinner at Pasha’s this year.
We enjoyed a great Turkish banquet, not your traditional Christmas fare.
Santa put in an appearance and passed out presents for all.
