Our Assistant Governor Tracy Dance updated us about various things happening in the District, including: that the Kangaroo Bay is likely to hand its charter and that this charter may be transferred to a new club in the Richmond area, a possible new Rotaract starting in Claremont, a possible new Rotary club starting in New Norfolk, projects arising out of the Victorian bushfire fund. District Public Relations is applying for a grant at the moment, GSC Ontario team has been selected and that Follow the Yellow Boat Road raised over $250,000. She also highlighted a proposed joint zone project being discussed by Zone 2 Presidents. Current ideas include funding house building in Sri Lanka or purchasing Disaster Aid Australia boxes.
