The evening started with greetings and drinks. Our president, Anita Orchard, welcomed everyone to the meeting. She gave an overview of the club for those not familiar with it. The president of Salamanca, Tony Colman talked about his club and asked for help with the gift wrapping fundraiser they will be holding soon.
Thanks for everyone for organising food.
Jill did her international sketch on the Horn of Africa, as this is where the fundraising from this evening will be going.
Rebecca organised the games for the “Minute To Win It”. The games included:
• Turn into mummy with toilet paper
• Keep 3 balloons in air
• Thread 10 needles
• Line up 6 coat hangers
• Balance nail on a piece of string
• Oreo biscuit balance on forehead and flip into mouth
We then ended the meeting with two heads and tails.
We raised around $380 and we decided to give $500 to the Horn of Africa Appeal.
