7th August Northern semi, Launceston College
21st August Southern semi, Elizabeth College
8th October 2pm STATE FINAL, Playhouse Theatre
27th November NATIONAL GRAND FINAL, Brisbane Powerhouse

As patron for the nationwide quest, actor Hugh Jackman believes it is an exceptional opportunity for young performers to show their skills.

This national competition for drama and musical theatre students (16-19 years) will showcase finalists to some of Australia’s leading entertainment representatives.

Storm the Stage will:

  • give you a chance to win cash prizes;
  • prepare you to confidently audition for Australia’s top acting schools; and
  • could be your big break into the riches of showbiz!

The 2 competition categories are:

  • Best Drama Performer
  • Best Musical Theatre Performer
